# Defining Words

|
|
Words are named functions. To start a word, preceed it's name
|
|
with a colon. Follow this by the definition, and end with a
|
|
semicolon.
|
|
|
|
E.g.,
|
|
|
|
:do-nothing ;
|
|
:square dup * ;
|
